Born in the Ecuadorian Andes, Gabriella has long been committed to rescuing indigenous textile traditions and transforming them into contemporary clothing. Her academy journey began in Colombia, exploring indigenous practices in film and documentary direction. She deepened her commitment in Mexico, pursuing a Master's in cultural project creation, before specializing in sustainable fashion design. 

In 2022, Gabriella launched Awka Willka, a fashion brand celebrated for blending tradition and modernity. The collections, influenced by indigenous textile heritage, have earned an international acclaim. Gabriella's work has garnered awards, including the "Entrepreneur of the Year 2023" in Luxembourg and invitations to prestigious events like the Luxcity Film Festival.
